Abstract

This research paper explores the intricate relationship between Data Lakes and Master Data Management (MDM) and investigates strategies for their seamless integration and optimization. As organizations increasingly leverage Data Lakes to store vast and diverse datasets, the need for effective MDM becomes paramount. The paper delves into the challenges associated with harmonizing structured and unstructured data within Data Lakes while maintaining data quality and governance through MDM practices. Various integration approaches are examined, considering both technological and methodological aspects. Additionally, optimization techniques are explored to enhance the performance and efficiency of MDM within the context of Data Lakes. The findings provide valuable insights for organizations seeking to leverage the combined potential of Data Lakes and MDM for improved data management and decision-making processes.
